Since they are packed by weight, the quantity of discs per bag depends on the size and weight of each gem, but normally runs between 100 to 105 pieces. In order to get an idea of how many of these gems you would need for a vase, add them to the fill line in a standard 8 ounce measuring cup. Next count how many round discs are in the cup. Using the same measuring cup, simply fill it with water, pour the water into your vase and see how many cups it takes to fill the vase to the level you would want the gems to fill. Then multiply the amount of cups by the amount of discs and you will have your answer. These gems can be difficult to photograph due to the sparkling glass.
